We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Legal Consultant to join our dynamic team at Coyote Agency. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your extensive legal expertise to
provide strategic guidance on complex legal matters, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk across our operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional
teams and contribute to the development of policies that align with our mission and values.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US MOVE (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)
Lead the legal function by advising on regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and corporate governance.
Develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives while managing legal risks effectively.
Oversee and mentor a team of legal professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and legal excellence.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to provide informed counsel to stakeholders across the organization.
Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
Collaborate with external legal advisors, manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
8+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment, with a focus on compliance, contracts, and corporate governance.
Proven track record of managing complex legal issues and providing strategic legal counsel to senior leadership.
STAND OUTS
Experience in advertising/marketing agency legal and compliance, with a strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and challenges.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing legal team.
Strong negotiation skills and experience working with stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies
Proficiency in legal research tools and contract management software.
Familiarity with compliance management systems and risk assessment methodologies.
Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts and regulations to business practices.
